Who We Are

The Delaware Chapter of the National Association of Benefits Insurance Professionals (DABIP) is a statewide organization comprising health insurance industry professionals committed to informing the public about crucial healthcare matters, influencing health insurance legislation, and elevating ethical standards within the field. Our members assist employers and consumers in choosing health insurance plans tailored to their specific needs.

DABIP offers its members local networking opportunities, continuous education classes, and various platforms for connecting and learning from peers. The organization facilitates statewide networking, enabling health insurance agents in Delaware to collaborate effectively. Through collective efforts, members can impact media discourse. Our History

DABIP was initially reformed in 2015 by Nick Moriello, current President of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware. The goal was to establish a resource and networking center where members could access and exchange information pertaining to Delaware's health insurance industry while continuing industry education and professional development.
